Q.What is a cookie?
A.Cookies are a small piece of text that is entered into the memory of your web browser. If the lifetime of this information is set to be longer than the time you spend at the website, then this information is saved to your computer for future reference. When you visit a website, that site can only access the information which it stored in your cookie. One website may not access another website's cookie.
 
Q.Why does hacards.com use cookies?
A.Every user of this website has access to their own personal shopping cart, the contents of which are stored on the server. Whenever you change the contents of your shopping cart, the server needs to know which shopping cart to make the change to. This website uses a cookie to store the identification for your shopping cart on your computer.
 
Q.How do I accept cookies?
A.Please follow the instructions below, depending upon which browser you are using:

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0+
1. Select "Internet Options" from the Tools menu.
2. Click on the "Privacy" tab.
3. Click the "Default" button (or manually slide the bar down to "Medium") under "Settings".
4. Click "OK".

Mozilla Firefox 1.0+
1. Go to the "Tools" menu.
2. Select "Options".
3. Select the "Privacy" icon in the (Firefox 1.0) left panel, or (Firefox 2.0) top panel.
4. Check the box corresponding to (Firefox 1.0) "Allow sites to set cookies", or (Firefox 2.0) "Accept cookies from sites".
5. Click "OK" to save changes.

Netscape 7.1/Mozilla 5.0
1. Select "Preferences" from the Edit menu.
2. Click on the arrow next to "Privacy & Security" in the scrolling window to expand.
3. Under "Privacy & Security", select "Cookies."
4. Select "Enable all cookies".
5. Click "OK".
